The Board has adopted the Society for the Aged Sick, previously known as Payoh Lai Home, for more than 10 years. Staff bring cheer to the residents through its regular quarterly visits. Interesting performances by staff and their family members are put up to entertain the residents. In addition, we support the Home in developing and maintaining its website. Staff also raise funds to help the Home offer the residents better care and benefits in their twilight years. The objective is to promote active corporate citizenship and a spirit of caring among staff for the old and needy in our community. |

| On 6 May 2002, the CPF Board officially adopted Marina City Park as the venue for Community Service. Participating in National Parks Board's Adopt-A-Park scheme is another way of showing that we care for the environment. |

| The Board's relationship with the park goes back a long way. We started using the Marina City Park in 1992 as part of our weekly walk and jog programme. Since then, staff have been jogging in the park every Wednesday, unless it pours heavily. Over the years, we have grown to like Marina City Park - its serenity, greenery and sea breeze. Other than the weekly walks and jogs, staff are also encouraged to hold other Board activities, such as staff social activities and community service activities, in the park. |
