Her Portfolio

I am the key lead in the conceptualization and implementation of the Workfare Income Supplement Scheme for Self-Employed Persons, including executing initiatives for the enforcement of Medisave contributions from self-employed persons.
I manage 3 teams of officers in the day-to-day operation which involves managing challenging customers, complex enquiries and correspondences escalated by ground staff. Besides working closely with our IT Department on the development of software systems for the implementation of projects, I also liaise with Government Bodies, Statutory Boards and Court on Self-Employed Matters. Another important aspect of my role entails monitoring and reviewing service standards, policies, guidelines and work procedures to ensure relevance. |

Some of the Most Memorable Moments in CPF Board
Winning the ‘WOW’ Idea Award in 2006 and being the Chairperson of the Division Staff Well-Being Committee in 2005 where I was given the opportunity to organise events like the division year-end party, basement opening ceremony, and activities that promotes staff bonding. Last but not least, going for my weekly Monday and Wednesday CPF Board walk whereby it offers me an opportunity to keep fit and get in touch with staff from other divisions at the same time. |

Enjoy Best about Working in CPF Board
I find CPF Board is a well-balanced organisation. Apart from its daily operations, there is a whole array of activities that staff can participate in, e.g. WOW idea conference, Family Day, SRC activities, SQA People Talks/Activities. So it is not only work but play involved as well!
I am very lucky to have a great team of officers who are very supportive and committed. I am also fortunate to have great bosses who have provided me a lot of opportunities to be involved in challenging projects which allows me to develop as a staff. They are very patient bosses who are willing to put in time and effort to coach staff. I also enjoy the empowerment I am given in my work. All these wonderful people make working in CPF Board an enjoyable experience despite the hectic work schedule! | |
