I would think it would be in my initial years when as a freshman, I was tasked to handle a wide-scale National Project for withdrawing CPF savings at age 55. During that time, we had to learn quickly on the job, relying on trial and error to handle all the enquiries and complaints from both external and internal customers. It is an experience which has served me well throughout my years in the Board.
Also, all the house calls that we made in the past to pass the cheque to the members and the satisfaction shown by our CPF members after receiving the “small” amount of monies. Not forgetting our CPF members who came from all walks of life whom we met at the interview rooms/counters. Without them, CPF Board would not be such an interesting place to work in. |
