His Portfolio

My primary role is to handle members’ general enquiries pertaining to CPF matters as well as assisting leaders in managing a team of Customer Service Officers (CSOs) in the daily operations of CPF. I am also an officer-in-charge (OIC) for National Projects such as NSS, ESR, Progress Package, and GST Offset Package in which I was given the opportunity to manage the temporary staff at the National Project counters.

Greatest Challenge at Work
Being in the front lines, we face all sorts of different challenges daily. My greatest challenge is to make CPF members happy when they leave the counters at CPF Board. It is not an easy task meeting the varying standards of each and every member while satisfying their needs. My formula for meeting that challenge every day:

Patience + Empathy = Happy Member

Some of the Most Memorable Moments in CPF Board

In 2005, I was honoured to be given an opportunity to host the annual Customer Service Department Party. During that event, I got to work closely with the management on the planning and the execution of the event. It was a memorable experience as such events helped foster team spirit and brought the management and staff closer.

Enjoy Best about Working in CPF Board

To me, CPF Board is not just another organisation. A fulfilling day for me is when I know I have been able to make most of my members/customers happy. I particularly like the balanced life that I have been leading since I joined CPF. I put in my best at work during office hours. And once the work day is over, I leave the office for home to spend time with my family, not having to bring home my work. I enjoy the work-life balance that CPF has inculcated in its culture.
