To encourage members to voluntarily defer their Minimum Sum (MS) payouts to age 65, a V-Bonus will be given for each year of deferment. Members aged 54 to 63 in 2007 who have not started their payouts are eligible.

Members do not need to apply to defer their payouts. MS payouts will automatically be deferred as long as members do not apply to CPF Board to commence the draw-down of CPF monies.
