The CPF Board is inviting eligible investment consultancy firms to tender for the service of providing consultancy under the CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS). The consultancy service comprises the evaluation of suitable product providers such as fund management companies and insurers as well as their products such as unit trusts, investment-linked insurance products, exchange traded funds etc, seeking to be included under the CPFIS. |

The criteria for the selection will be on the qualifications and expertise of the consultancy personnel assigned to work with the CPFIS, the consultants’ track record and price of service. |

The new contract will be for a period of three years from the commencement of the consultancy services, with the option by the Board to extend for two additional one-year terms. |

The invitation to tender, published on GeBiz (www.gebiz.gov.sg) today, will close in early January 2008. The result of the appointment will be made known by February 2008. |

The current contract was awarded to Mercer (Singapore) Pte Ltd via tender in March 2002 and will expire in March 2008. |
