Service Standards
 

To enable us to process your applications within the service standards, please ensure that your applications are duly completed with the necessary supporting documents. We will adhere to the following service standards, in our best efforts.

Note: "Working days" refer to Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays.

CPF LIFE Applications
Application will be processed in the same month if it is received by:

Otherwise, it would be processed in the following month.
21st of the month
25th of the month
CPF LIFE applications are processed on the 27th of each month. Applications received via E-Transaction by the 25th will be processed in the same month if:
1) No bank information is required for the application; or
2) The bank account provided is previously used for receiving payouts under the CPF Minimum Sum scheme.
Otherwise, the application will be processed in the following month.
CPF LIFE Monthly Payout
You will start to receive your CPF LIFE monthly payout from the month after your application is processed if you are born before 1948. If you are born in or after 1948, you will receive your monthly payout from your DDA.

The payouts will be paid to you by the:








4thworking day of the month if it is via Interbank GIRO (IBG)

14thworking day of the month to your CPF Ordinary Account (OA) if IBG is unsuccessful or bank account information is not furnished.

*This is the processing time. The cheque will be sent within five working days after processing.

For telegraphic transfer, we will pay you within 15 working days.

The processing time excludes the time taken to perform verification checks and/or obtain more information from our service partners (if applicable).

# As the banks require two working days for the fund transfer to your bank account, you will be paid within two (2) working days after your birthday.

For IBG, the bank account will be credited by the 4th working day of the following month.
Cheque payments will be dispatched by post by the 6th working day of the following month.
Application for pledging of HDB flat The Board will write to HDB within 7 working days. Application will be processed within 5 working days after all co-owners have given consent and complete information provided by HDB. The Board will write to HDB within 4 working days. Application will be processed within 5 working days after all co-owners have given consent and complete information provided by HDB.
For IBG, the bank account will be credited by the 8th working day of the following month.
Cheque payments will be dispatched by post by the 14th working day of the following month.

Applications for pledging can only be processed after member attained age 55.
Application for pledging of private property The Board will write to Bank / lawyer within 7 working days from receipt of application. Application will be processed within 7 working days after all co-owners have given consent and lodgment of charge (if applicable). The Board will write to Bank / lawyer within 4 working days from receipt of application. Application will be processed within 7 working days after all co-owners have given consent and lodgment of charge (if applicable).
For IBG, the bank account will be credited by the 8th working day of the following month.
Cheque payments will be dispatched by post by the 14th working day of the following month.

Applications for pledging can only be processed after member attained age 55.
Application to purchase annuities using my Minimum Sum (submitted electronically through insurance companies) 5 working days upon receipt of complete information from Insurance Companies. Not applicable
Application for exemption from Minimum Sum Scheme 7 working days upon receipt of verified information from Pension Office / Insurance Companies. 5 working days upon receipt of verified information from Pension Office / Insurance Companies.
For IBG, the bank account will be credited by the 8th working day of the following month. Cheque payments will be dispatched by post by the 14th working day of the following month.
Application to make a top-up to my own/ recipient’s Special/ Retirement Account under the CPF Minimum Sum Topping-Up Scheme Top-up to the Special/Retirement Account - 7 working days. Top-up to the Special/Retirement Account - 5 working days.
Application can only be processed upon receipt of all relevant documents and payment.
Application to transfer Ordinary Account savings to Special Account Not applicable Immediate
