You can choose to withdraw the balance in your Ordinary and Special Accounts (OA/SA), and any balance above the Medisave Minimum Sum in your Medisave Account (MA). When you withdraw, you will need to set aside the CPF Minimum Sum (MS) in your Retirement Account (RA). If you have the full MS but have less than the Medisave Required Amount (MRA), you are required to make a top-up to your MA with part of the CPF balances from your OA and/or SA to meet the prevailing MRA.
If you have not withdrawn your CPF at 55, you may apply to do so any time. If you have withdrawn your CPF before, you will next be eligible to withdraw at your next birthday. However, you can apply for a further withdrawal if:
(a) you have not been continuously working for six months immediately before the withdrawal application date; or
(b) you are a self-employed and have not been continuously working nor receiving income in any business or trade for six months immediately before the withdrawal application date.
If you wish to withdraw your CPF, you can do so by logging on to “my cpf Online Services – My Requests – Retirement”. You will need your SingPass to complete the transaction online. Click here to have an indication of how much you can withdraw. Once your application has been processed successfully, you are able to view your Withdrawal Advice when you logon to my cpf.
If you still have an outstanding housing loan, you can leave your Ordinary Account monies with the Board to continue servicing your housing loan.
