Making your first CPF contribution as a new employer

You are only required to complete the FORM CPF/1 when you need to make your first CPF payment. Please attach the cheque together with the form and submit it to us. Your cheque should be crossed and made payable to “CPF Board”. The employer’s name, contact details and the words “Making First CPF Contribution” must be indicated at the back of the cheque. You will receive a welcome package and your employer reference number after we have processed your first CPF payment.

Welcoming you as an employer

You will receive a welcome package upon registration. For subsequent submissions, you can take advantage of CPF e-Submission to enjoy greater convenience. CPF e-Submission is a service provided by CPF Board where employers can submit their CPF contribution details and make payment electronically. With CPF e-Submission, you can submit your CPF contribution details anytime, anywhere, even while overseas. We also have a number of different e-submission modes to suit employers with different needs and wants. You will find more details and the relevant application forms in your welcome package. Just select your preferred e-submission mode and return the application forms to us. From October 2008, employers who submit CPF contribution details for 4 to 10 employees using the hardcopy Payment Advice will have to pay a Processing Fee of $7 per employee per month. The fee is already imposed on employers with 11 or more employees. In the near future, employers with 3 or fewer employees will also need to pay the Processing Fee if they are not on e-submission.
