  General
  1. What is Medisave/MediShield Internet Reimbursement via E-Form/E-Payment?
 

The Medisave/MediShield Internet Reimbursement via E-Form/E-Payment is a new initiative by the Board for employers/insurers to electronically submit and pay Medisave/ MediShield refunds to their employees/insured.

Employers/Insurers can now submit their Medisave/MediShield reimbursement details via the CPF website (Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement) and make payment via the CPF E-Payment service.

 
  2. Which are the banks participating in the CPF E-payment service?
 

The CPF E-Payment service is open to all Banks for participation. DBS Bank, UOB and Citibank are currently linked to this service. More banks will be linked to the E-Payment service in the near future.

This service is currently extended to all DBS and UOB Current Account or Savings Account holders. Employers/Insurers with Citibank’s Maxisave or Ready Credit accounts can also submit the Medisave/MediShield reimbursement payments electronically via this service.

You should have an Internet Banking pre-arrangement with any of the participating Banks.

 
  3. What are the operational hours for the CPF E-Payment (Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement) service?
  This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including public holidays.
 
  4. Are there any charges incurred for this CPF E-Payment (Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement) service?
  No, this e-service is free.
 
     
  Security
  1. What are the security measures in place for the CPF E-Payment (Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement) service?
 

The CPF E-Payment (Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement) service is a secured service, using 128-bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.

 
  2. What is 128-bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) ?
 

The 128-bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption is a security option used by financial institutions and brokerages world-wide. It is highly secured as the Bank recognizes only CPF’s certificates and all information transmitted between your PC and the Bank’s Server is protected by 128-bit Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption.

 
  3. How much would it cost to use SSL?
 

The SSL service is free.

 
  4. What is the control for Employer/Insurer access to this e-service ?
 

Only company staff of the Employer/Insurer authorised with the Internet Banking Pin can access this E-Payment service to submit electronic Medisave/MediShield reimbursement details.

 
   
  Submission of Reimbursement Details/Making Payment
  1. How do I submit the reimbursement details and make payment?
 

Follow these simple steps:
a)   Log on to the CPF website http://employer.cpf.gov.sg. Select “E-Services”, then "Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement” and submit via “E-Form/E-Payment".
b)   Key in your company's CPF Submission Number*, followed by your personal CPF Account No. and SingPass.
c)   Fill up the e-form. (Please check and confirm the accuracy of the details)
d)   Click option “Submit”.
e)   A unique submission number will be generated by the system immediately after submission of the claim details.
f)   To make payment immediately after submission, Click “Pay by E-payment”. Fill up the payment request and submit.

You may also make payment later after the claim details have been submitted by following these steps:

a)   Log on to the CPF website http://employer.cpf.gov.sg. Select “E-Services”, then "Medisave/MediShield Reimbursement” and submit via “E-Form/E-Payment”.
b)   Key in your company's CPF Submission Number*, followed by your personal CPF Account No. and SingPass.
c)   Click “Pay Submission”. Select submission number that you wish to make payment. Then click “Next”.
d)   Reconfirm the submission details and click “Confirm Pay thru E-Payment”. Fill up the payment request and submit.

*CPF Submission Number (CSN) is the unique 15- digit CPF number allocated to each company, currently quoted in CPF contributions.

 
  Payment
  1. If I use the CPF E-Payment service, when will the funds be deducted from my company’s bank account?
 

The funds will be immediately debited from your bank account upon successful online submission and credited to the respective Medisave/MediShield accounts on the night of the next working day, upon successful processing.

 
  2. Will I be given an acknowledgement upon submission of an E-Payment submission?
  Yes. The status of the submitted payment will be reflected immediately on the Bank’s payment screen. You will also receive an immediate online acknowledgement upon our receipt of your E-Payment submission.
 
  3. What will happen if there are insufficient funds in the Bank Account?
  The transaction will be rejected and an error message will be displayed. In this case, you will need to replenish the funds before re-submitting your reimbursement.
 
  4. Who can I contact if I have further enquiries?

  2. Are there any configurations or settings I have to do before I can access this secured service via SSL?
 

In order to use the SingPass, your browser must have the following features enabled.
  - Cookies
  - Java Applets
  - JavaScript
  - SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Version 3.0

  Pre-requisites
