The CPF Education Scheme has introduced measures to assist students who are unable to repay their education loans in view of the economic downturn. Students who are unemployed or facing financial difficulties may apply to defer their loan repayments for a period of one year.

The Board has started mailing the Yearly CPF Statement of Account for 2008 to CPF members. You will be receiving your Statement at your address maintained with the Board by the end of February 2009.
We will be mailing the Statement of Account in phases:

Email is commonly used as a channel of communication for non-confidential correspondence. Hackers and phishers often use emails to trick email users into revealing your passwords or other confidential information by responding to the sender or by clicking the URL (website link) provided in the email which will direct you to other malicious site or download Trojan into your system.
Hence, customers are advised to exercise precaution when handling email.
Important: CPF Board will never ask our customers to provide password or other confidential information via email.
If you are in doubt, please refer to the list of authorised email addresses from CPF Board. The Board also sends out email alerts via these six email addresses:

Note: To ensure that you receive our email alerts, you may wish to include the above email addresses in your safe senders list.
Here are some best practices:
1. Be careful when you receive an email from someone unknown to you. Do not reply to unsolicited emails, you are advised to delete them immediately.
2. Do not click on hyperlinks in the suspicious email as you might be directed to other websites or pop-up windows asking you to enter, confirm or update your personal information. These hyperlinks may direct you to malicious content which may be harmful to your computer system.
3. Look out for obvious spelling errors in the subject title/content of the email. Often, malicious emails will contain misspelled words to avoid spam filters from identifying them.
4. Do not provide any sensitive information such as password or personal information via email.
